About Eagle Surveying

Surveying is the business.

More than a decade of focused growth has made Eagle a deeper, more capable surveying firm. Professional land and construction surveying remains the core of the company, strengthened by a dedicated Reality Capture practice, licensed professional oversight for survey work, and modern geospatial technology.

That focus gives us the room to invest where it matters most: people who know the work, systems that keep projects coordinated, and tools that expand what we can measure and document. The result is a firm built to take on complex assignments with judgment, accountability, and clear ownership from start to finish.

Culture of Collaboration & Growth

A culture built on knowing the work.

Eagle's President and Director of Operations both started as Party Chiefs at Eagle Surveying. They learned the profession in the field before moving into broader leadership, and that path still influences how the company develops people today.

We want practical knowledge to move through the company, not stop at a title or department. People are expected to ask questions, share what they know, take ownership of their part of the work, and understand how it affects the people around them.

As Eagle has grown, we've invested in both sides of that equation: better tools and stronger people. Training, mentorship, technology, and opportunities to advance are part of the same goal, building a company that gets more capable as its people do.

Trust

Earned through consistent work, clear communication, and doing what we say we will do.

Accountability

We own the work, the handoff, and the responsibility to make sure the next person can rely on it.

Knowledge

Experience is shared through training, mentorship, review, and daily collaboration across teams.

Innovation

We keep improving the tools and processes behind the work when they create a better result for the project.

How We Work

The survey has a workflow. The project has a lifecycle.

They intersect, but they are not the same. Survey information moves through its own professional workflow, while the broader project moves through acquisition, design, construction, and closeout. Eagle's role is to keep the survey work aligned with what the project needs next.

Surveying Workflow

How the survey work moves.

Research, field work, drafting, licensed review, and delivery each have a distinct role.

Research & ScopeReview records, define the assignment, and establish the approach.
Survey Control & CollectionEstablish control and collect the measurements, observations, and site data required.
Drafting & CalculationsProcess the field information, perform calculations, draft, and coordinate the working deliverables.
Professional ReviewProfessional survey work receives the appropriate RPLS review and quality control.
Delivery & CoordinationDeliver the agreed information and coordinate questions, revisions, or next steps.
Project Lifecycle

Where survey information supports the project.

As the project changes phases, new survey needs can send the work back through the professional workflow above.

Due Diligence & AcquisitionBoundary, title, existing-condition, and site information for early decisions.
Design & EntitlementTopography, plats, easements, and coordinated information for design and approvals.
PreconstructionControl, plan review, staking preparation, and site information before work begins.
ConstructionConstruction staking, verification, as-builts, monitoring, and ongoing site support.
CloseoutFinal surveys, as-builts, record information, and documentation needed to complete the work.
Leadership

Experience where decisions get made.

Eagle's leadership is built around people who know the work first-hand. Department leaders and licensed professionals stay connected to operations, project delivery, and technical review so decisions are informed by practical experience. That keeps accountability clear and technical judgment close to the work.

People & Culture

We invest in people, not just equipment.

Surveying is a people business before it is a technology business. Eagle invests in training, continuing education, mentorship, and the tools that help employees build their skills and take on more responsibility.

That investment extends beyond the workday. Family-oriented events such as Eagle's annual crawfish boil give employees and their families a chance to spend time together outside project schedules and deadlines.

Strong teams communicate better, share knowledge faster, and take more ownership of the work. That benefits the people building careers here and the clients depending on them.

Build people. Share knowledge. Give good work room to grow.

Two Texas Offices

Two Texas offices. One Eagle team.

Denton and Waco give Eagle permanent bases in North and Central Texas while operating as one coordinated team. The offices share people, technology, and project knowledge as needs change, extending Eagle's reach across Texas while maintaining the same standards and systems companywide.

Community & Trust

The communities behind our growth matter to us.

North and Central Texas have given Eagle clients, employees, relationships, and opportunity. Eagle Cares is one way we return that support, through donated surveying services, volunteer efforts, sponsorships, local partnerships, and the causes our people choose to stand behind.

The support goes both ways. Being voted Best of Denton in Land Surveying six years in a row is recognition from the same community that has helped Eagle grow. We take that trust seriously, because it reflects more than visibility. It reflects how people experience the company over time.

Show upVolunteer, sponsor, participate, and support the organizations doing useful work close to home.
Use what we knowWhen surveying expertise can remove a technical obstacle for a community project, look for a practical way to help.
Build long-term trustThe same accountability we want on a project should be visible in how we support the communities around us.
